At the end of February, I attended a Meetup with Mayor Gregor Robertson at the Network Hub. It was great to hear the Mayor speak about his experience being an entrepreneur and how he translates that to running the City of Vancouver. He answered many questions and spoke about things he is working on to improve opportunities for entrepreneurs in Vancouver.
As always, it was a delight to meet and talk with other great self starters in our great city. Vancouver is an amazing place to live, but does not have a lot of large companies. As a result, Vancouver has the highest number of entrepreneurs per capita in North America, as was noted by Mayor Roberston in his speech.
The good folks at Curly Tail Pictures produced a short video for The Network Hub TV that includes some of the Mayor's speech and discussions with local other business owners in Vancouver. Please watch the video and comment here or directly at The Network Hub.
The Network Hub provides a co-working space where entrepreneurs can connect, create and collaborate on new and exciting opportunities.
