What Flash Buying Can Learn from Finnish Saunas

posted by Lesel, CEO at , Oct 31, 2010
I had the fortunate opportunity to live in Finland for two years. In addition to the dry humor and calm atmosphere, Finnish saunas were part of what I loved most. I became immersed in the sauna culture with two to three saunas sessions a week, some lasting for hours.

To make the most of Finnish saunas, its important to stick to a few fundamental traditions. Buyers of online flash sales can learn a lot from these Finnish sauna traditions.

Overall, social shopping is anticipated to use one of the best forms of advertising: word of mouth.

On Grooster, when our subscribers talk, we grow and our featured businesses grow. Like most businesses, we love that concept. However, the question we've been digging into since founding Grooster is what makes social shopping social? Answering this requires getting to the essence of how and why people share. I believe no business has found the silver bullet yet. We are working on the bullet at Grooster now.
